  I only came here for fingerprints for an employment background check. The front office staff were super courteous and kind. I just didn't understand why it took me 6 minutes to finish my paperwork, but 40 minutes until an officer actually came in to do my fingerprints. I was literally the only person waiting in the lobby, and the parking lot had one other vehicle. When the officer came in, he was very friendly and knowledgeable; seemingly a great guy. I just would've appreciated being told how long I'd be waiting or why I was waiting so long; some type of transparency. I was on my lunch break for work. Throughout the wait, many times you could hear officers laughing & joking about random things, and I even heard one throw a couple curse words around. Curses don't bother me in the least, neither does joking around, but not when you've got customers waiting on you in the lobby. It gave the sense that there are plenty of people casually working or potentially not even doing anything while we waited. A girl came in behind me and had to wait just as long for fingerprints to be taken as well.

  In simply trying to go to a political rally, I was yelled at brutally to GET BACK IN THE CAR!!! as the cop made a move toward me when all I did was walk get dropped off to go see a politician? I get that it's busy but this is no way to "serve" your people, cops -- it's this kind of thing that makes people hate the police force. Because I'm pretty dang innocent. Learn how to turn people away understandingly or stop claiming to help people, Bentonville cops.

  I was in there for job shadowing and all the cops were very nice I rode my bike there and one of the ladies behind the glass said that she was going to get an officer to get my bike and put it in the building and the cops are very respectful and caring like on thursday we went to arbeys and both of the officers offered to buy my lunch. So I gave the department a 5 star rating because they r more then just people they r men and women who are out every day fighting to protect and to surve bentionville they r people who love what they do and they r very nice and they r very respectful to every one that they pull over. And they are loving as well and they are out everyday putting there life on the line so that the citizens of bentonville are safe so we shoul give the police who work at bentonville and all the other cops respect and STOP Giving them grief. Because they are just trying to keep bentonville safe.

  Damn proud of my police force.they don't write tickets like they have a minimum amount to write. They are friendly and great people
